A strip is a blank, or panel strip that you could add characters and objects into. It is perhaps the most important element of a comic strip, as the strip is where everything in your comic happens--characters, speech/thought bubbles, and objects all appear within strips. A strip runs all across a page and usually takes up anywhere from 1/6 to 1/2 of the width of the page. However, strips are not the most basic part of a comic. The strip is made up of smaller parts known as panels. Panels are individual pieces that show a sequence and form a strip when lined up next to each other.
